WHO WE ARE

Tryon Capital Venture’s foundation is the strength and diversity of the two partners – Peter Coker, and Peter Reichard. Around each partner is a vast network that spans the state of North Carolina, has deep roots in Wall Street, and extends as far as the Silicon Valley in California.

Peter L. Coker | Peter has over 35 years experience in investment management, financial transactions, and executive management. He has held senior positions at several financial services companies including investment banks and asset management firms on Wall Street. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina State University Investment Fund and several startup companies. He received his BS and Masters degree in Economics from NC State University.

Peter Reichard | Peter has over 20 years experience in business development, government affairs, and political fund raising. For 10 years Peter has served as President of the Greensboro Area Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the Southern Growth Policies Board and the Board of Trustees of Guilford Technical Community College as well as the board of North Carolina Citizens for Business and Industry. Peter holds a BA from Guilford College.

Partnering with Tryon Capital Ventures on many opportunities is Robbie Hardy of Silk Road Partners. Among the labels that help define Robbie’s 25 years experience as an executive in corporate America are investor, entrepreneur, turn-around CEO, and “Mentor Capitalist,” providing guidance to early stage companies and exit strategies for later-stage companies. Her senior positions include stays at international consulting firms working with the Fortune 100, CEO and founder of several start-up companies, and founder of a seed-stage capital fund. Robbie serves on the Board of Directors of several start-up companies as well as the Executive Board of Directors of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED).
